Who Wants an X-Men Costume For Halloween?

The X-Men series, as well as its various spin-offs, such as the Uncanny X-Men and the Brotherhood of the Evil Mutants, have long been some of Marvel’s most popular comic books.  As such, if you are looking for the best classic X-Men Halloween costumes to wear this year, you should consider selecting one of the following popular choices.

Wolverine Origins Classic Muscle Adult Costume

Known simply by the name “Logan,” this mutant has been a central force of the X-Men team ever since accepting Professor Xavier’s invitation to join.  While his contributions to the team are without question, his past is shrouded in mystery.

What we do know is that he is, by his very nature, a savage creature that must constantly control his animalistic instincts to kill.  While working for the Canadian government on the Weapon X project, Wolverine’s principal offensive and defensive weapon (i.e., his retractable bone claws) were bonded with adamantium, an element that caused them to become literally indestructible.

Unfortunately, however, that same government tampered with his mind and, as a result, he is unsure of exactly who he is (and what he has done in the past).  While possessing incredible speed as well as extraordinary acute senses of hearing and smell, one of Wolverine’s greatest mutant abilities is his superhuman healing powers which, as a beneficial side effect, greatly reduces his aging.

This Marvel-licensed Wolverine ensemble is styled after the second version of his X-Men costume, with some minor tweaks.  It is a yellow and blue jumpsuit with belt buckle, and is buffed up with a muscle-like torso and matching arms.  It also includes a Wolverine character mask and Wolverine claws.  The Wolverine Origins Classic Muscle Adult Costume is available in a size that fits most adults (i.e., extra-large sizes 42-46).

Jean Grey Phoenix Adult Costume

Jean Grey’s mutant powers emerged at a relatively young age.  When she was eleven, the future Marvel Girl witnessed her best friend Annie Richardson perish after being hit by a car.  However, instead of just watching it happen, Jean Grey actually felt it happen, as her mutant powers caused her to actually feel the emotions of her friend while she died.

Although her mutant abilities would eventually grow to include both telepathic and telekinetic powers, this experience caused her to feel extremely depressed and, as a result, she sought out the assistance of Professor Xavier.  Professor Xavier, in turn, managed to block the more dangerous telepathic abilities (i.e., her ability to read minds and mentally communicate) until she was old enough to control them, and focused on instructing her to use her telekinetic powers (i.e., her power to move things with her mind and to levitate) instead.

This Jean Grey Phoenix Adult Costume is her second Marvel girl costume and comes in a metallic looking green and gold. This X-Men costume is a short, green mini-dress that has a gold phoenix printed on the front.  It comes with an attached gold belt and sash, as well as gold gloves (that are fingerless) and boot covers.  All you need to finish the costume is a pair of sexy high heeled shoes and a long, red wig, and you are ready to steal the heart of Scott Summers, or whatever other boy or girl you desire.
